This introductory one-day course for arborists, developed by the Bat Conservation Trust and the Arboricultural Association, will help you to carry out tree works with consideration of the potential effects on bats and their habitats. The course counts towards Arboricultural Association CPD requirements and participants will receive a
Lantra Awards attendance certificate. The course includes basic bat biology and ecology, bats and the law, potential tree roost recognition, where to go for help, emergency procedures and practical exercises.
