Aimed at arborists who already have a basic understanding of the issues surrounding bats and trees, this one-day course goes beyond the visual survey taught in the introductory course. You will explore in more depth the practical skills needed in the field, the methods that can be used to look for evidence of bats, learn the appropriate use of fibrescopes and be given guidance on what can and cannot be done without a bat licence. Prior knowledge and skills are required and can be gained by attending Arboriculture and Bats: A Guide for Practitioners.
