A bird identification course with a difference that teaches you to look at the whole bird and not just the colours and patterns. We use general impression, size, shape and sound. Jeff's relaxed courses help you to understand and enjoy the bird you are looking at. It's not just a name on your tick list. This spring time course will give extra attention to songs and calls as we visit some of the most delightful locations in search of migrant songsters, the extra special birds of the Speyside region and bubbling Black Grouse. The evening lectures are always informative and laced with a liberal dose of humour. This course will suit moderately experienced birdwatchers ready to take the next step and will be particularly useful to potential bird surveyors both amateur and professional. There will be a two night stopover in Speyside which will allow extra time to search for the more elusive species which is included in the course fee.
