This course begins at 10:00 with a brief introduction before heading off to the field. It will help participants to identify grasses, sedges and rushes through field characteristics and will include lab sessions in the late afternoon and evening. Evening meal will be provided.
Chris Walker is a botanist and ecologist with a wide experience of the plants and habitats of Shropshire and surrounding areas, and of the practical application of the National Vegetation Classification in ecology and conservation.
