This course is designed for anyone who has to undertake a research project.
During this course we will look at the process of planning and carrying out a project. We will cover aspects of planning, including managing your time. We will also look at sampling strategy, data collection and analysis. Finally we shall examine writing and presenting the results. During the course we aim to look at your own project ideas and can help you to refine and detail your ideas.

Mark Gardener is an ecologist with a wide range of experience of fieldwork in the UK and abroad. He currently teaches environmental science and data analysis and has recently published a textbook on data analysis for ecologists.
