Geography field trips: Laying foundations for future choices
It is during this critical stage that children will make their choices for the future. Geography field trips can provide the inspiration which convinces them that geography is what they want to do!
FSC Key Stage 3 geography programmes are fixed length courses with clearly stated outcomes that enable teachers to quickly and easily book field trips, safe in the knowledge that the field trip will be directly related to work taught in the classroom and will contribute to achieving the geography curriculum. Each geography programme will be adapted to suit the year and aspirations of your students.
As well as covering specific elements of the geography curriculum all field trips also place a strong emphasis on developing Personal, Learning and Thinking Skills, together with providing opportunities for students to develop as global citizens.
