Spotted an interesting plant or animal on a country walk, but don't have your identification books with you? These apps could be the answer!

Field Studies Council is pleased to announce that five of our fold-out charts are now available as iPhone apps. Each guide has colour images, notes and background information to a range of common species. The handy filter system helps by limiting the results based on easy features such as colour, shape, number of legs and habitat. Ideal for use outdoors these guides will help you find out what lives in your local green places as well as ponds and streams.
