Field Studies Council - Kindroganvirtual tour by eyerevolution FSC Kindrogan has 15 dormitory rooms and 34 single or twin rooms. 10 of these rooms are en suite and 12 are designed for disabled visitors. For security access to accommodation blocks is controlled by key-pad locks. The centre has a range of recreational areas. There is a games room with pool table, table football, table tennis and TV/DVD, a Bar, a TV/DVD lounge, a coffee lounge, a staff room, and three kitchen areas to make hot or cold drinks at any time. The centre is situated in a beautiful and wildlife –rich mixed woodland area on the banks of the River Ardle. Bedrooms and workrooms look out over wildlife feeding areas, including one floodlit area to watch nocturnal animals. The centre also has an artificial otter holt, bird and bat boxes, a walled garden producing salads and vegetables for the centre kitchens and a croquet lawn. Low and high ropes courses (including zip line, Leap of Faith, crate climb, High V), self contained conference facilities, a library, equipment hire for those needing waterproofs and wellington boots, a drying room, a shop, a computer room and a weather station. |
